Minor in Industrial Engineering

Curriculum

Required courses

IEOR E3658: Probability for Engineers* or STAT GU4001: Intro to Probability and Statistics**?
IEOR E3402: Production and Inventory Planning
IEOR E3608: Foundations of Optimization?
IEOR E4003: Corporate Finance for Engineers

Two (2) IEOR electives approved by a faculty adviser: 6 Points

In addition to the required courses, students majoring in operations research, financial engineering or engineering management systems and minoring in industrial engineering must take three industrial engineering courses that are not used to satisfy the requirements of their major.

*Preferred course

** Class of 2018, 2019, and 2020 can take either SIEO W3600 in place of IEOR E3658. SIEO W3600 will no longer be offered after Spring 2017.

Minor in Operations Research
